CHAMPIONSHIPS
F1h2o is the 'flagship' World Championship of single-seater inshore circuit racing, attracting up to 20 of the world's leading drivers.

It's a sport that has to be seen to be believed as these diminutive catamarans enter hairpin turns at over 90mph and top 140mph on the straights.

F1h20 racing use tunnel-hull catamarans that are capable of both high speed and exceptional manoeuverability; the boats weigh in at approx 390kgs, are 6 metres long - 2 metres wide and powered by a 2.5litre Mercury engine generating 425 horsepower at 10,500 rpm.
The F1h2o Nations Cup introduces a new approach to the spectacular sport of inshore circuit racing and is aimed at National teams, made up of two boats and two to four drivers per country, competing with identical boats, engines and propeller, placing the emphasis of performance on the ability and skill of each driver, with the winner no longer being the strongest individual driver but the Nation with the best drivers in the world.

The single-seater, tunnel-hull catamarans are capable of breathtaking acceleration and high speeds: each boat is six metres in length, 2 metres wide, weighing in at 455kgs and powered by a 225HP Mercury Optimax 200XS SST engine.
If speed, skill, artistry, sheer raw power and endurance are your preferences, then the Aquabike World Championship delivers all – in abundance – producing non-stop action, edge-of-the-seat racing, impossible feats of acrobatics and the jaw-dropping grit and determination of endurance racing.

60 riders from 20 countries will compete across four categories; seven titles are up for grabs. The titles for Runabout F1, Freestyle and Ski F1 for both men and women fought out over six events.

A single-event Championship shoot-out will see the titles decided for Runabout F1 Slalom and Ski F1 Slalom for both men and women, with arguably one of the most spectacular and demanding events on water, the 'Karujet' Rally Jet World Championship, an endurance race around the ‘butterfly’ island of Guadeloupe, run over four days.
Just imagine…"…two of you strapped into an enclosed safety cockpit…one has the throttle controls the other the steering wheel…wrapped around you a five ton state-of-the-art carbon kevlar composite powerboat…behind you two 900hp engines capable of speeds in excess of 160mph-255km/h…simply breathtaking".

...six Grands Prix, 12-races at stunning venues in South America, Scandinavia, southern Europe and the Middle East…teams and competitors from America, Brazil, Italy, Norway, Qatar, Spain, UAE and the UK.

…the prize…the Class 1 World title and the most coveted trophy in world powerboat racing - the Sam Griffith Trophy.
